Even Super-Heros Rest

Along the highways in France are signs for "Aire" which translates as "area" but we read as "air"—a lovely way, we mistakenly thought, to describe these wonderfully cozy rest stops.  This one is Aire Nord de Bosgouet, one of the most inviting roadside rest areas I've ever seen and a great place to enjoy the air as well.

Billboards along the highway invite drivers to leave the highway and take a power-nap, reminding us that even super-heros rest.  Although our translation for "Aire" may have been inaccurate, it appears that catching some Zzzs is the same in both English and French.

  2. Isn't that a great spot? Would love to have such a place in my back yard...except at shrub-trimming time.
