The Asparagus Palace

Known as Spargelburg (Asparagus Castle) for its asparagus-like columns, Vienna's Palais Coburg, now a luxury hotel, was built in 1845 by Prince Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, uncle of the United Kingdom's Queen Victoria.
